If y’all have been following us for a while, you know that we sell custom personalized rubber address stamps. But, do you know that we also sell custom self inking address stamps in the same designs? We get many inquiries from potential customers asking what we think the benefits are of each, so we wanted to share our thoughts with you today!
benefits of self inking stamps
There are a few benefits that come with purchasing a self inking stamp. The ink is already in this stamp, so all you have to do is press down on your stamp, and it will make an impression of black ink on your paper. This will save you money from needing to purchase an additional ink pad, and purchase more pads when the ink from your original pad runs out. It will also save you a little bit of time as you do not need to re-ink your stamp after every few impressions. They are good for up to 5,000 impressions!
Self inking stamps are used best for: Addressing a large quantity of envelopes, for parties or weddings.
benefits of rubber stamps
The main benefit of purchasing a rubber stamp is that you get to choose which color you want your stamp impression to be. And, you can change the colors you use depending on how you are using your stamp. If you want to address wedding invitations, a pretty gold ink would be nice. If you are using them to address your holiday cards, green or red ink would be cheerful! The price of these stamps is also slightly less cost up front than the self inking address stamps since they do not come with ink already loaded in the stamp. And, you will not need to replace your stamp once the ink runs out, you will just need to replace the ink pads when the ink runs dry.
Rubber stamps are used best for: Someone who likes to switch up the colors that they use on the envelopes they address.
Which type of stamp do y’all prefer? Each type is great for different occasions and personalities. I personally love my rubber stamp, and we know of many customers who love their self inking stamps! You can find all of our custom address stamps in our Sweet Tea and Lemonade shop here.
