This year is our 8th Valentine’s Day and our 5th as a married couple. As I look at our how our family life is now with its busy schedules, toddler antics, potty training ( <– emphasis on this really stressful milestone)…it’s amazing how your love changes for each other…but in a really, really good way. It’s more than just the romantic gestures. Now, it’s the working as a team and being a good partner that shows your love. It’s the smell of pancakes and three-year-old squeals from the kitchen that wakes you up on a Saturday morning because they decided to let you sleep in (with 7:30am now considered sleeping in).

I took this picture while we were getting ready for a special night out on the town a few weeks back and now think to myself...we sure do clean up nice! Pretty darn lucky he is my Valentine and partner in crime. :)
