There’s a lot of noise today out in the internet and social media about everything we feel we have to be doing as entrepreneurs. There’s email newsletters and Instagram and Pinterest and SEO and #allthethings. It can be so confusing and overwhelming and, worst of all, distracting!

Happy January, friends! Today, I’m sharing some of my 2017 PowerSheets goals and my word of the year. I love selecting a word of the year to help guide me and set intentions.

It was the end of Day 3 of Inspired Retreat and we had just wrapped up a long hike to the waterfall. We were sitting there in our rocking chairs with our feet up, quietly rocking away in the September afternoon sunlight.

Nothing says southern than bourbon, peaches, and sweet tea! This delicious cocktail was served at this past September’s Inspired Retreat and was a big delight to all of our guests.

It’s been a month since the last Inspired Retreat, and I’m still feeling the warm, cuddly, happy bliss that comes after you work so hard at something and you know the result was something really, really good.
