My Spring Virtual Retreat: A Time to Awaken New Possibilities
I am still coming down from the excitement of hosting my spring virtual retreat! It’s always an honor to lead women through a time of reflection and embracing fresh opportunities and this was no different! In fact, it was such a success that I couldn’t resist a chance to share a quick recap with you!
Spring is all about waking up to a fresh, new energy!
Embracing joyful living and wellness in spring. We kicked off the day by digging into all the fun goodies included in our retreat kits. We sipped our lemon ginger tea, while chatting about the importance of embracing all the fresh, light foods from the season as part of taking care of ourselves during this time.
Creating connections for our businesses. Since spring is about emerging, connecting with people can be a great way to grow in your business. I gave our sisters practical tips and shared strategies for effective in-person or virtual networking. Including: Using tools like calendar booking software or setting aside dedicated time for intentionally building relationships with people.
Inviting new possibilities into this season. After chatting about networking, we started dreaming about what we want to create in the coming months. We invited those ideas into our lives. We spent time identifying possible words that were emerging as themes for the next season and writing them down.
Setting clear goals for growth. We moved into creating goals for what we want to achieve in the next 3 months from the new possibilities. This was a time to do some weeding and let go of what’s no longer serving us, get clear on what we want to see happen and determine the support we need for those goals to flourish.
Let me tell you, I was so excited to identify my own intentions in this next quarter.
I am bringing more energy and enthusiasm to my work!
- Continue to engage with my audience in fun ways on social media
- Finish my office refresh
- Commit to CEO check-ins where I’m looking at KPI’s more frequently and taking ownership of the data
- Complete some open projects that are looming
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the work I get to do, the life I get to live, and the people I get to serve
It felt so good to write down these intentions and encourage our sisterhood to do the same.
Planting our intentions. We ended the retreat with recording goals on a card and planting them in the ground as a symbol to give them life.
We awakened so many new ideas, focused on renewal, refreshment, growth, and creativity in both our businesses and our lives during this retreat. Hearing women share about their reflections, takeaways and surprises they learned along the way was amazing!
