After a fun day welcoming attendees and speakers to Evins Mill for our Inspired 2014 Conference (see the recap here!), we were all excited to dive into the amazing learning opportunities that were to start on the morning of Day 2.

We started the day gathered in the main lodge, gathered at these adorably designed tables featuring custom designed May Books from our awesome speaker Mica May of May Designs and jam jars from Nicolle of Libby Lane Press!

What truly set this Inspired apart from previous conferences is that we started each day with two inspiring keynote speakers, and then divided into break out sessions for the latter part of the day. Attendees were given a list of classes to choose from prior to coming to Inspired, and we created custom-tailored schedules for each of them!

Attendees could choose from business related classes, from managing money, to branding and blogging — all in a small workshop-like setting.

They could also take a variety of creative classes this day, like finding your floral aesthetic, chalk lettering & illustrating, and capturing life and family through photos.

After the day of learning was over, attendees were invited to a fabulous dinner party hosted by Rhi of Hey Gorgeous Events. Aren’t these invitations and paper goods by Smitten on Paper gorgeous? The invitations were waiting on each attendee’s door to find when they woke up in the morning, and a bag of tasty caramels from The Caramel Jar was placed on each of their plates. Because dessert should come before dinner!

How stunning are those silver sparkly linens by Nuage Designs? And that orange paisley linen? So beautiful! And of course, it wouldn’t be a Hey Gorgeous event without her amazing floral creations! We loved Rhi’s idea for the hanging cascade of carnations above the tables.

After dinner, we asked attendees to head back to their cabins to put on their pajamas again, and then all came back to the main lodge for a fun crafting class with Samantha of Studio Calico. She taught us how to make mini binders that represent each of our brands, and it was such a great time! We loved getting to use their new crafting supplies.

We headed back to our rooms for another night of beauty sleep before Day 3, which we will be chatting about on the blog tomorrow so make sure to come back to take a look!
