When you start your business, you’re oftentimes doing the work by yourself.
You do the research, you put in late nights, and maybe even work weekends to get things off the ground. You might even be working a day job as you build your empire on the side.
Between self care, family, and everything else you have going on, there’s a lot that falls on your shoulders.
There’s another thing, though...
Something that isn’t always talked about in business circles or online entrepreneur groups...
Sometimes, it’s lonely.
Sometimes, you just want help.
When I first started, I didn’t have a community of amazing business owners and women who were there to cheer me on and help me get back up when I fell.
It sort of felt like friends or family had no idea how hard I was working (or even what I was working on).
And I felt like my businesses weren’t growing as fast or as well as I wanted because I didn’t know where to go to find the resources I really needed to take action.
I burned the midnight oil a lot in those years, and constantly wished I had someone to guide me and support me.
Then, I discovered group coaching programs. I joined a couple in those early years and immediately saw more results in my business.
For so long, I had been churning my wheels, stuck in the mud, and feeling frustrated.
After a couple months in those group coaching programs, I felt that spark come back into my brain and my business.
I had new ideas! More importantly, I was acting on them! I was *finally* launching them and bringing them to my audience.
It was like all systems were a-go, and it was such a great feeling.
I realized just how much I needed a group and a coach to help me elevate myself and my business, and I haven’t looked back!
Since then, I have invested in myself and business every year with group coaching programs. I invest in different types of groups, too — from mindset to marketing and leadership.
Each of these group coaching programs provides me with so much positive energy, community, and support.
I truly believe they’re a major part of the reason I’ve seen so much success today.
And I want that kind of success and satisfaction for you, sister. So today, I’ll be sharing all the juicy ways a group coaching program can help YOU take your life and business to new heights.
1. Marketing strategies and tactics that work for your business
Do you ever read an article or watch a video from a “marketing expert” and feel like the tips and tricks they share aren’t going to work for you?
I hear you!
It’s so hard to know which marketing strategies to try and which business growth tactics will actually work.
You don’t want to come across as overly salesy, you want to actually respect your audience, and you don’t want to sink a ton of time or money into things that don’t work.
Sister, I’m telling you. This is where a group coaching program — especially a marketing group coaching program — will shine.
When you find the right group coaching program (more on this in a minute), you’ll get up-to-date trends that work for YOUR business and YOUR audience.
You’ll get the why and what of the strategies, and get a solid plan in place to help you execute on it.
Best of all?
You’ll have a group of people holding you accountable so you actually put those strategies into place. Then, you can celebrate when the strategies start to work and you see your business bloom!
2. Expert insights that save you time + money
When I choose a group coaching method, I choose it based on the person (or team) who leads it. I highly recommend this for you, too!
Make sure that your chosen coach has experience in the online business world and in marketing a business that makes more revenue than yours (because it means they have tactics that you haven’t tried yet!).
Make sure he or she has proven results for their program members, and that they actually invest in their own learning and skills.
Why? Because all of that translates to them being able to share their knowledge with you, apply it to your business in a way that works, and you’ll know that you’re getting the most current strategies.
Marketing and business change all the time, sister. It’s important that you invest in resources, coaches, and groups that help you stay on top of those changes.
I also believe you should choose a group coaching program that creates frameworks and strategies you can essentially “plug and play” — no late night Googling, no need to make everything your own, no need to spend even more money.
Instead, you get expert insights and simple marketing strategies that you can apply directly to your business to save you time and money.
3. A coach who understands
There’s something so powerful in knowing that you’re understood, and that someone has been right where you are.
That’s exactly what a great coach is — someone who understands your life and your business.
Aligning yourself with a coach who has been in your shoes (or in a similar situation) and who wants to help you reach your professional and personal goals is critical.
Without that, their strategies might feel off-base or inapplicable to your business, and you’ll feel even more frustrated and alone.
I’ll talk more about how to find a coach and group coaching program that works for you down below, but I do want to say this:
Always look for a group coaching program led by a person who speaks directly to your personal pain points or personal core values for the life and business you want to create.
Whether you’re struggling with growing your revenue, you can’t seem to find time to work ON your business instead of in it, you’re trying to grow your team, or you need help just getting your business off the ground…
You can find a group coaching program that addresses your problems.
Don’t just choose a group coaching program that tons of people are joining. Find one that fits you, your business, and your life.
4. Community and connection
Humans are wired for connection. I believe that, as women business owners, we are uniquely equipped to thrive in a strong community.
We want to support others. We want to dust each other off when we fall. We want to lift our glasses and cheers when one of us succeeds.
The group aspect and community inside a group coaching program — especially one for women business owners — is just so powerful.
Just like finding a coach who “gets it,” you’ll be able to surround yourself with other women who get it, too.
Knowing you’re not alone does wonders for your mindset, but it also means that you’ll have resources, advice, and support from people who understand your business and lifestyle.
That means better results and more effective strategies, sister. And it just feels good!!
5. Gain momentum
A rising tide lifts all boats, as the saying goes.
I’ve seen this myself in my own group coaching program and mastermind: the Blooming Business Inner Circle.
When you surround yourself with people who are making decisions, taking bold steps, and doing amazing things… you want to go along for the ride.
There’s so much exciting energy that happens in a group coaching program like the Inner Circle because women are talking, learning, and taking actions every single day.
I believe the key here is that women get to share their successes and their challenges inside our private Facebook community, which lets everyone in on each other’s triumphs and trials.
When I personally look for a group coaching program, I look for one that has an active community because I think this is where so much of the energy and excitement comes from.
It’s also how I’ve grown my business each time I’ve invested in myself: the ROI is astounding!
6. Connections you can’t get anywhere else
Inside a group coaching program, you work closely with the people who are in your group.
You seem them learn and grow, you see them execute on exciting new launches and offers, and you share in your excitement for their results.
With all that going on, you can’t help but make meaningful connections. Not just the kind you get from a networking happy hour or conference.
The kind that are lasting, and that continue even after the group coaching program ends or someone moves on.
I’m a firm believer that connections and networking with other business owners is one of the best ways to grow your business.
You learn how to support your peers and how they can support you, and you genuinely want them to succeed.
This can mean referrals and contracts down the road, as well as an expanded community of business owners who want to see you grow, too.
Find a group coaching program that works for you
Let’s be honest: It’s entirely possible to grow your business on your own and without a business coach or coaching program.
But there’s another side to that coin, sister.
It might take you twice (or thrice! Or quadruple!) as long...
It might be more expensive…
It might be more stressful, or cause you to sacrifice things that are important to you...
It might be lonely…
Does that sound like a thriving and growing business?! I think not!
My call to you is to find a group coaching program that fits your specific needs and that helps you do what you want to do in your business.
I also recommend that you find a group coaching program that has a coach and leader you connect with, and who has been right where you are.
Most of all, find a group coaching program that feels like a community.
There are plenty of group coaching programs and masterminds out there that feel like an online classroom, where you’re just there to learn from the expert and then go do the work by yourself.
I promise you: the magic is in the people. It is in doing the work together.
If you want to do the work with women business owners who are committed to creating thriving businesses and joy-filled lives, I’d like to invite you to the Blooming Business Inner Circle.
