whiskey iced tea recipe
Nothing says southern than bourbon, peaches, and sweet tea! This delicious cocktail was served at this past September’s Inspired Retreat and was a big delight to all of our guests.
Southern Peach Iced Tea
Ingredients:
5 bags of black tea
3 cups of hot water
8 cups of ice
1 cup of cold water
1 2/3 cup of diced peaches
1/4 cup of sugar
1 whole lemon, juiced
Whiskey
Ice for serving
Sliced peaches for garnish
Directions:
Steep tea in hot water for 5 minutes. Add ice and cold water. Puree peaches with sugar and lemon juice, until smooth. Mix the peach puree into the tea.
Serving:
Fill glasses 3/4 of the way full of ice. Add whiskey to preference and glass size (we recommend 1/2 – 1 shot of whiskey). Fill glass with Peach Iced Tea and garnish!
