7 Marketing trends you need to try this year
Whether you’re marketing your business online, in person, next to the pool, or from the airplane…
I have the inside scoop on the BEST trends you’ll want to follow in 2020!
Digital Marketer came out with an article recently where they interviewed the top marketing experts about what their predictions were for 2020 marketing trends.
So I went out there, got the information, and I'm bringing it back here for you to learn all the things!
Are you ready to hear about the best marketing trends?
Let's dive in...
1. Think about your customer’s experience
Forget all of the automation and robots. Your customers want human content.
How can you make their experience interacting with you just a touch more personal? But how do you do this?
2. Reach out to customers
Let them know you want to hear from them and that they’re your VIP! Doesn’t everyone want to feel special and heard?
Be open to feedback and communication on how you can provide an even better experience for them.
3. Use a focus group
This requires getting with people individually or in a small group and asking them for their direct feedback.
Jump on a video call and ask your best customers on how you can create an even better experience. Everyone wants to give their thoughts. Trust me!
4. Use multichannel marketing
Diversify your offerings! Don’t rely on one particular platform to bring in new leads.
Facebook ads are great but think about using Pinterest or Google, too! You can also enable bots for messaging so people can engage with your business quicker and easier.
5. Say goodbye to perfectly polished marketing campaigns
Consumers today are craving authenticity. They want realness, so consider going “live” more often to show them the authentic side to who you really are.
How can you show your customers behind-the-scenes so they feel connected?
6. Podcasting
Podcasting is continuing to rise — and guess what?
80% listen to all or most of each episode. That’s a lot of time that someone is wanting to hear what you have to say.
Even if you don’t want to make your own podcast, why not be a guest on one? Can you be a guest expert or a guest visitor interviewer on one of these other podcasts that you enjoy or where your customers potentially might be listening?
7. Quality, not quantity
Vary the lengths and sizes of your content. It’s not always about having lengthy, meaty emails, podcasts, or live videos.
Sometimes your customers just want short and sweet, too, because *hello attention spans!*
So, how are you going to get started on these trends right now?
If you were with me for the Flourish Marketing Workshop, you probably already have a plan, so how are you going to blend these into it?
